Warranty

Ookami Studio offers a comprehensive warranty for our products, which covers structural defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase. Additionally, defects in finishes, materials, and workmanship are covered for 1-year from the date of purchase.

Please note that our warranty does not cover defects arising from improper installation or exposure to environmental conditions beyond the specified tolerances. We will replace any products covered under warranty at our discretion.

Included with the purchase and available online is the Ookami ‘How to care for your items’ document which must be followed.

To make a warranty claim, please follow these steps:
Complete the WARRANTY CLAIM FORM in full.
Email the completed form to sales@ookami.studio

Our 5-year warranty terms:
Our products are covered by a 5-year warranty against structural defects and a 1-year warranty against defects in finishes, materials, and workmanship. This warranty is non-transferable and commences from the original date of purchase.

Exclusions:

Our warranty does not cover defects arising from:
  • Accidental damage
  • Intentional acts
  • Misuse or negligent use
  • Improper installation
  • Modification
  • Failure to maintain
  • Exposure to foreign substances and chemicals
  • Installations that are contrary to our instructions
  • Exposure to weather and environmental conditions exceeding reasonable tolerances
  • Installation undertaken without an accredited and licensed technician
  • Additionally, the warranty does not cover wear and tear, including abrasions to finishes, discoloration from regular use, and fading or patina from environmental exposure.


Making a claim:
To make a claim under this warranty, please contact us within the warranty period with a description of the defect, images of the defect, and proof of purchase. We may request to inspect or assess the product.

If we determine that your product is defective, we may replace it at our discretion. If your product is no longer available, we may offer a substitute product with similar specifications.

Liability:
Our maximum liability under this warranty is the replacement of the product. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, claim, cost, or expense arising from a defect in the product.

This warranty is in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including the right to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
